Rotating urinal

SpinDao opens automatically as you approach. After use, the bowl rotates back into the wall, where its inner and outer surfaces are cleaned in an enclosed chamber.

Operation

Sensor-operated opening and cleaning

Sensors control opening and closing, with no manual operation needed. Once the user leaves, cleaning, sterilisation and odour control take place behind the wall.

Automatic opening

The bowl opens automatically when the sensor detects a user.

In use

The bowl remains open, with status information on the front panel.

Retraction

After the user leaves, the bowl rotates 180 degrees back into the wall.

Cleaning

The bowl completes a four-second cleaning cycle inside the enclosed chamber.

Water use

0.36 L per cleaning cycle

The design uses 0.36 L of water to clean the inner and outer bowl surfaces in one cycle. Total consumption varies with the number of cycles.

Installation

One unit or a row

Units can be arranged to suit the washroom layout, with each bowl retracting into the wall after use. Recessed installation requires space for the body and connections.

Cleaning system

Cleaned inside and out

Fine spray reaches both bowl surfaces, while a silicone wiper removes water from the exterior. Cleaning and sterilisation take place inside the enclosed chamber, with negative-pressure ventilation for odour control.

Conical vortex atomisation

Fine spray reaches the inner and outer surfaces of the bowl.

Silicone wiper

A flexible memory-silicone wiper removes water and residue from the outer surface.

Enclosed sterilisation chamber

Cleaning and sterilisation begin once the bowl has retracted into the chamber.

Negative-pressure exhaust

Negative-pressure ventilation helps remove odours from the chamber.

Application

Public and private washrooms

Public washrooms can use rows of units, while private bathrooms can use an individual installation. Placement depends on the wall, plumbing and maintenance access.
